Everything was alright. Quite clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was enough although the variety was not very big. Location is very good (although it is next to lots of sex shops and prostitutes walk around, but there is no real problem with this).

You have to leave the key every time you go out, so you must go and get it every time to go in and since reception is on the first floor, it is not comfortable. The elevator only takes you to the fourth floor, although your room might be on the fifth.

Great location even when the area is not the most beautiful. The staff is great, breakfast was good and the lady very friendly. Normal beds, very clean. Space was OK for individual room.

If your room is in the 5th floor you need to walk upstairs one floor because the lift is only up to 4th floor.

Seedy location Official photographs omit to show the ground floor sex shop. Location could be intimidating to families or older visitors. At over 200 Euros a night (inflated conference prices ?) it was way overpriced My room did not have ensuite - Not sure if some do have this facility

Small lift.place for only 2pers.but it says 4.you have to go up 4- 5stairs to get to lift and it only goes to 4th floor.near sex shops,hores standing outside.do Not recommend for families.Small roomsUncomfutable bed.The breakfast buffe is not a real buffe and very expensive.Go to another Novum-hotell

Located on the "red-lights" street, sex-shops and striptease next door. Nothing wrong, but in my opinion they should inform about such neighbours.

The room was nice but tiny, clean and neat.

Convenient location 5 minutes walk from Hamburg HBF. Good security at front door (24 hr reception buzzed door open as needed, due to seedy location). Spacious room, all facilities in working order. Lift available. Nice buffet breakfast provided.

Curtain in our room were inadequate to block out light: 2 curtains with no backing where there should have been 4.

The location, it is close to Hamburg central station.

The bathroom was smelly, like it was not very clean. The bed consisted of 1 pillow and 1 duvet, on a double bed. The hotel is very basic.

The room that was sold as double room was very small and so was the bed. We had to take the mattress off and my friend slept on it on the floor.

The price and location made this hotel a good choice. It was clean, comfortable with helpful staff.

The wifi was too slow to use effectively but there was computer available to use at Reception.

Breakfast was ok, silent area.

Second night has a little cold ( -7 degrees celsius outside) and my girlfriend complained that even with the heating at 100% it was not warm enough.

Large spacious room and good breakfast. Very convenient for the train station.

No black out curtains meant that the early morning sun woke me too soon.
